Im zweitletzten Spiel der Saison besiegt die Brühler D-Elite den Verfolger FC Goldach mit 9:3 und sichert sich damit die Meisterschaft. Die Junioren des Trainerduos Felix Mätzler und Marco De Grassi holten sich damit grad auch noch das «Double», hatten sie doch schon im Herbst den Titel gewonnen.
Ausserdem ist es am 12. Juni genau ein Jahr her, dass die D-Elite zum letzten Mal ein Meisterschaftsspiel verloren hat: In den letzten 17 Meisterschaftsspielen haben die D-Junioren einmal unentschieden gespielt und 16 Mal gewonnen.
